Zan Artefacts offers a window into the world of the ancient Iranian art of Kapu weaving; a craft handed down through generations of female artisans for thousands of years. Borne from founder Gola’s wish to honour and celebrate the women of Iran, partnering directly with the talented craftswomen to form secure relationships with them to ensure that they are paid fairly. Some of these women are among the first in their village to have an opportunity to work, earning a living using a respected skillset and give back to their families and community.
