Stoneware platter made by hand from a slab of white clay. Shaped over a mould, cut and smoothed with a rubber kidney. Fired once when dry, then signed and waxed on the base. The piece is then dipped into a glossy transparent glaze and hand painted with cobalt oxide. It is then placed back in the kiln for one final 1240 degree centigrade firing.

Dishwasher and microwave safe though discouraged for longevity.
